Lot Surveys

BOUNDARY SURVEY

A survey made to establish or to re-establish a boundary line on the ground or to obtain data for constructing a map or drawing showing the boundary line of property according to the description in the recorded deed. “On Site” improvements such as buildings, drives, etc., are not located.

Improvements along the boundary lines affecting the use of or title to the property are located such as fences, hedges, or visible encroachments. Missing corner markers are replaced.  A map or drawing showing the boundaries and improvements along the deed lines is prepared and a Surveyor’s Certification is included.

LOCATION SURVEY

A boundary survey including the location of all of the above ground visible improvements located on the subject property. Missing corner markers are replaced.  A map showing the boundaries and improvements is prepared and a Surveyor’s Certification is included. Many times, this type of survey may be required for the acquisition of a loan.
